Denmark Youth Outreach
This outreach support service is available to young people living in the Shire of Denmark and surrounding areas who may be in crisis or experiencing a difficult journey through adolescence.
Operating three days per week, Denmark Youth Outreach provides early intervention support to young people to prevent and address crises. The program provides:
- Mentoring to enhance relationships with family and others
- Information and advocacy to enhance young people’s health and wellbeing
- Referrals and support to access specialist services, including AYSA homelessness services
- Support to establish connections to activities and the community
This service is funded by the Shire of Denmark and managed by AYSA.
Who it’s for?
Young people aged between 12 and 18.
Denmark Youth Outreach is based at the Community Resource Centre however, there is also a mobile service that operates from community venues; and we do home visits or meet with young people and/or with their families in a place of their choosing.
